森の奥で水面が凪ぐと、サギが一羽、岸辺にじっと立つことがあります。トンボはその上を音もなく滑空し、水中の小さな魚影がときおり苔の色を映す水面をかき乱します。
Along the quieter stretches of the trail, moss-lined streams widen into shallow, reflective ponds. Herons occasionally wade at the water's edge, and dragonflies trace slow circles above the surface — best seen by visitors who pause rather than pass through.
苔むした巨石
Boulders Where Small Birds Rest
渓流沿いに点在する苔むした巨石は、鳥たちにとって格好の休憩場所です。ミソサザイやセキレイなどの小鳥が、羽を休めながら周囲をうかがう姿を見ることができます。
Moss-covered boulders scattered along the stream banks provide small songbirds with a place to rest between flights. Wrens and wagtails are among the quiet visitors — please observe from the trail rather than approaching.
山上の湖
A Habitat Above the Ridge
尾根を越えた先にある小さな湖は、苔の森に抱かれるようにして静かに水をたたえています。ここは多くの生き物が水を求めて集まる、静穏な生息地です。
Beyond the ridge, a small mountain lake sits cradled by moss forest on all sides. It functions as a quiet gathering point for local wildlife — please keep to the marked viewing area at the shoreline.

Early Summer · 初夏
初夏の宵、渓流沿いの暗がりに蛍の淡い光が浮かびます。人工の灯りを避け、静かに立ち止まって眺めるのが最も美しい見方です。In early summer evenings, fireflies drift softly above the streambanks after dusk. They are best viewed by standing still, away from artificial light.
Autumn · 秋
秋が深まると、赤とんぼが尾根道の上を群れをなして飛び交うようになります。夕暮れの光の中でその羽が輝く様子は、この季節ならではの光景です。As autumn deepens, red dragonflies gather in loose swarms above the ridge trail, their wings catching the low afternoon light.
